The University of Miami transforms lives through education, and scholarships make it possible for many students to attend the U and access opportunities they might not otherwise have. Now, more than ever, scholarship support is fundamental to helping the U attract and retain gifted and deserving students. Your contribution will make a positive impact on a young person’s life, help them continue their journey as a ’Cane, and score you some cool merch.

SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS

The  General Scholarship Fund supports students in need and helps them achieve more today and every day as they forge ahead and create a brighter future. 

The Black Alumni Scholarship Fund offers need-based financial support and recognizes the academic accomplishments of underrepresented students and students of color enrolled at the U. 

UM Women’s Guild Scholarship Fund is open to any woman, age 20 or over, attending the University of Miami full-time with a 3.5 GPA or above in the Broward, Miami-Dade, or Monroe counties.

Support the future of Miami Athletics by donating to the Hurricane Club or the Women's Athletics Scholarship Fund. These funds help to provide medical care and nutritional programs, academic services, scholarships and more for student-athletes at the U.

'CANES COMMUNITIES SCHOLARSHIPS

The ’Canes Communities serve as official representatives of the University of Miami Alumni Association in geographic areas throughout the world. Led by local University of Miami volunteers and supported by the alumni association, ’Canes Communities provide an opportunity for alumni, parents, students and friends to connect with each other and to the University through a variety of programs and events.

The 'Canes Communities Scholarship Funds support the University's strategic priority of assuring access to the highest quality education by expanding scholarships to meet the financial needs of local students. Each scholarship fund also allows your 'Canes Communities to assist students in navigating their academic path and connecting to their alumni 'Canes family.
