CARES Act
If you make your gift before December 31, your donation may be eligible for special charitable giving incentives provided by the CARES Act. For donors who do not itemize their tax returns, the 2020 charitable giving tax deduction increased to $300 per individual. For those donors who itemize their tax returns, the cash deduction increased from 60% to 100% of the donor’s annual income.
