Celebrating the life of Dr. Ram Ayyar
Please join us in celebrating the life of Dr. Ram Ayyar. As the longest serving faculty member in the history of the Department of Neurology, Dr. Ayyar taught generations of residents and fellows, many of whom went on to assume leadership roles at institutions across the country and around the world. For a remarkable 42 years, he ran the Neurology Update Course and received the Department of Neurology outstanding teacher of the year award multiple times. Ram was a kind man with a wonderful sense of humor. An educator and clinician at heart, to honor him we are creating a Teaching Award in his name. No gift is too big or small and the first $10,000 will be matched. (If we reach $50,000 we could endow this award). The first award will be given in 2021. Please help us salute him.

Dr. Ram Ayyar was an educator and clinician at heart, he loved to teach and would also always make time for any patient who needed to be seen. He was beloved by all. We already miss him greatly.
